Red House is the result of a many years of friendship and shared experiences between Jeff Espinoza and Francisco Simón. Their history began when the met in Spain and later coincided together as members of the Flying Gallardos. Since then their work together has created one of the best blues bands in Europe: Red House

Red House is synonymous with musical prowess and elegance that one can only truly appreciate during their live performances. They delight their audiences with a mix of incredible energy and good taste converting each of their concerts into an unique and unforgettable experience.

Red House is comprised of their two principal and founding members Jeff Espinoza (vocals and guitar) and Francisco Simón (guitar), and accompanied by Manuel Bagüés (bass) and Carlos Sánchez (drums).

Jeff Espinoza

Jeff is from Los Angeles, California where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Ethnic Studies from California State University, Fullerton. He came to Spain with the Californian group “No Justice” in 1980 and integrated into the Spanish music scene recording his first album with the mythical “Flying Gallardos” in 1989.

Jeff formed part of the “Vargas Blues Band” and recorded three albums with the group before forming “Red House” with Francisco Simón in 1998. They have recorded seven albums together since then and have received critical acclaim from Spanish radio and the music press. Jeff has released one solo album “Gypsy Runner”.

Jeff has registered over 400 songs and has collaborated with such great music artists as Steve Cropper and Blue Lou Marini of the Blues Brothers, Chris Rea, Junior Wells, Flaco Jimenez and Gene Taylor. Jeff also works as a voice over artist, actor and dubber for advertisments, radio, tv and film.

Francisco Simón

Francisco Simón studied geography and history at the Complutense University of Madrid. His passion for the guitar led him to study ear training, harmony and music theory at the School of Creative Music in Madrid after receiving a scholarship from A.I.E. Afterwards he moved to the United States and studied at the prestigious “Guitar Intitute of Technology” in Hollywood, California where he received the Best Style Award from the school.

Simón has toured extensively with great Spanish artists such as Duncan Dhu, Antonio Flores and Miguel Ríos. He’s has also worked with renowned international artists such as Tom Jones, The Blues Brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis, Willie de Ville and Collin James among others….

It’s important to note his participation in Spanish television programs such as Caiga quién Caiga, La Noche se Mueve and La Azotea de Wyoming… and as a composer for movie and television series soundtracks.

As a session musician Simón has recorded on more than 40 Cds and has participated in numerous publicity ads. He is also a renowned music producer.
